Entry Level Estimator

Sletten Companies are looking for an Entry Level Estimator to work with our Preconstruction Division to help develop conceptual and final estimates, budgeting, and value engineering for commercial and public projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Review project documents for completeness and ambiguities

Generate take-offs and estimate the costs of, labor, and equipment required per company standards

Attend pre-bid and preconstruction meetings

Assisting with subcontractor solicitation for bidding and pricing

Ability to work in a team environment

Detail oriented, critical thinking and problem solving daily

Use various software for take-off and document review

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Construction/Engineering emphasis preferred)

Well developed written and oral communication skills

Bluebeam, OST or other estimating software experience

Well developed organizational and time management skills

Additional Considerations

AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks experience

P6 Scheduling skills

Willingness and desire to learn

Shows initiative and self-driven

Additional Information

Work location is in Great Falls, MT

Office environment requires sitting and standing
