Role: As an Indirect Tax Analyst within INNIO’s finance CoE Organisation you will be responsible for the indirect tax compliance processes from INNIO in several EU jurisdictions. Main focus will be on preparation, review and timely submission of VAT returns, EC Sales listings and statistical reports. In this position you will play an important role in simplifying and standardizing the tax processes, meeting new regulatory requirements and supporting other functions within the company.

Your tasks:

Preparation and review of periodical VAT returns, VAT related reports (ECSL, Intrastat SAF-T)

Meet the submission deadlines and ensure compliant country-specific obligations

Communicate within and outside the organization to resolve problems

Prepare VAT related postings (periodical clearing, MJEs)

Perform VAT GL reconciliations on a monthly/quarterly basis and related open item management

Support tax audits

Act as an internal first point of contact in ad-hoc tax related requests from other functions

Monitor online invoice data reporting process.

Participate in ERP and tax engine optimization projects.

Proactively seeks process improvement opportunities

Your profile:

2+ years of experience in an in-house indirect taxation role or as a tax professional working on multi-national clients' indirect tax-related matters

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Accounting/Finance

Fluency in English, additional language knowledge is an advantage

Good understanding of ERP system functionality (Oracle is preferred), advantage is experience with tax compliance tools or with Tax engine solutions (e.g. One Source Indirect tax automation - Sabrix,) and interface to Tax Authority interface for invoice reporting

Experience in working with Shared Service centers or tax advisory firms

Analytical and logical thinking

Good Excel skills
