Position Type: Full‑Time
At Selah Freedom, we are on a mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to the exploited. Through prevention programs, outreach, safe housing, and national awareness efforts, we stand with survivors and walk with them toward hope, healing, and restoration.
What You'll Do The Outreach Advocate provides direct support and advocacy services to survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. This role works closely with community partners, law enforcement, and internal teams to ensure survivors receive trauma‑informed, comprehensive care while supporting Selah Freedom's mission and values. You will:
Provide direct support services to survivors of sex trafficking, including (but not limited to) legal, housing, medical, academic, employment, mental health, transportation, and support group referrals
Document all survivor services accurately and timely within the agency database
Provide support to law enforcement when a survivor is identified
Participate in the on‑call rotation to respond to intake line calls after hours, on weekends, and provide additional residential support such as transportation when needed
Attend trainings as requested by the Outreach Coordinator
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Criminology, or related behavioral science field—or equivalent experience.
Experience providing services to survivors of sex trafficking or in trauma‑informed care environments preferred.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
Comfort working in cross‑cultural environments.
Clean driving record and ability to travel locally.
