Job Summary The Graphic Designer position has two main responsibilities—one technical and one creative—that provide a bridge between creative vision and technical execution. The technical focus involves pre‑press operations transforming design concepts into production‑ready files for print and digital media. They ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to our customer's brand standards, while preparing appropriate digital assets for final output.

The creative responsibilities make up less of the volume of daily work but are just as important. Those activities involve creating on‑brand visual solutions and graphic components for our clients. Those components communicate concepts, provide wayfinding, promote brand identity, and engage with customers in a manner that adheres to our client's brand standards, is visually appealing, and mirrors our graphic production capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and finalize our clients' or internally produced digital art files for production, ensuring accurate and correct color profiles, resolution, appropriate bleed, and technical specifications.

Prepare component specification drawings that convey all critical information for accurate production of graphic components.

Create layouts, illustrations, and designs for a wide variety of customer facing communications such as in‑store graphics, wayfinding signage, and other marketing materials.

Work closely with project managers, account executives, and clients to ensure we understand their needs and priorities to create designs that meet or exceed their expectations.

Receive and review client provided art files to ensure they meet our production requirements, and the ability to communicate and articulate effectively what is needed if they don't.

Ensure our clients' brand integrity and visual identity by understanding and applying brand guidelines across all design projects and components.

Always remain current with design trends, tools, software, and best practices within the design, graphic production, and other related fields.
