Job Description Purpose: The Business Development Manager (BDM) represents the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographical area. The BDM is responsible for creating product acceptance and enhancing portfolio growth through business development activities, providing technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation. Assigned sales goals are obtained through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan.
Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager leverages resources to accelerate the adoption and sales growth of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio, which includes BOTOX Cosmetic, JUVEDERM collection of fillers, and Kybella brands. The BDM synergistically works and coordinates activities with other Allergan Aesthetics cross‑portfolio partners and support teams, and complies with required reporting, requests, and compliance policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business‑related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience required, with business‑to‑business‑to‑consumer (B2B2C) sales experience preferred.
Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment, and of the inner workings of a physician’s practice.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills; proven record of driving sales execution, effective consultative support, strong problem‑solving and resolution skillset, and ability to develop key strategies and execute.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written; strong contract and negotiating skills; financial and budgetary experience.
Ability to travel and be in the field four days a week.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software skills.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.

The compensation range described below represents the base pay range the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role, which may vary based on geographic location and other factors. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short‑term incentive programs.
