Overview As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.

Responsibilities

Engage in face‑to‑face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross‑up/repeat sales to existing customers.

Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.

Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.

Develop medium to long‑term sales plans and prepare strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with your targeted customers.

Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.

Qualifications

Degree Level – A four‑year degree in business, marketing, or engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Minimum of three years of relevant industrial sales experience is required, preferably within the vacuum industry.

Knowledge Areas

Understanding the principles of value‑based selling in the equipment business

Strong technical knowledge and the ability to quickly adapt to new products and technological developments

Experience working in an industrial environment, ideally with an engineering background

Clear understanding of effective territory management

Proficient sales techniques and skills

Other Requirements

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Confidence in engaging with end customers

Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 10% local travel and up to 50% overnight travel)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel

Experience with SAP is highly desirable
