About Our Team:
We believe learning does not have to be as hard as it still is, so we are on a mission to build the world’s most helpful learning experiences. We are a team of educators and artists creating video-first lessons, which we aim to make academically simple and relevant, as well as visually engaging and beautiful.
Role Summary: Our video lessons have Worksheets that students use to follow along. In this role, you will design these Worksheets to make them more engaging and beautiful.
Main Responsibilities:
Create Worksheet templates and style guides to enhance, respectively, the visual quality of our videos and the visual consistency of our Worksheets.
Create Worksheets for our video lessons that are beautiful, well-organized, and consistent – based on principles (visual and instructional design) and style guides.
Modify and stylize various educational assets (charts, diagrams, tables, maps, etc) in order to best integrate them into our Worksheets.
Must-Have Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in graphic design.
Proficiency with publishing tools including InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Word.
High attention to detail, high visual creativity, and strong sense of visual style.
Dependable Team player with strong communication skills.
Bonus:
Experience in page composition for print and screens, or in educational content.
Hungry to learn: Growth mindset; coachable; independent and fast learner.
Experience in complex workflows; strong skills in organizing and documenting work.
Location Remote.
Schedule Full-time (40 hours/week) preferred; part-time (30 hours/week) minimum.
