Job Summary The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating with customers, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This position involves assisting with sales activities, providing excellent customer service, and helping to achieve organizational sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with sales representatives in the field to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
Follow up on purchase orders or samples with the customer or manufacturer.
Assist with sales quotations, samples and bids along with prospect follow-up.
Maintain and update customer records on the CRM platform as required.
Take customer calls and emails for various inquiries which include price checks or product information.
Create itineraries for meetings or trade shows.
Assist with sales presentations as needed.
Special projects as assigned.
Skills Requirements
Experience in a sales environment and a customer-first attitude
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to follow detailed processes with accuracy and multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree or higher, or combined equivalent experience is preferred.
1-2 years’ experience in customer service or combination of education.
