Full-Time | Range up to $50,000/year + Benefits
Specialty Food Broker is seeking a Field Sales Representative / Service Deli Technician to support Service Deli departments across a major retail grocery chain. This field-based role manages an assigned territory, partners with store teams, and ensures our clients’ standards are executed consistently. Reports to Horizon Sales Field Sales Manager.
What You’ll Do
Visit multiple retail locations to provide customer support and in-store training
Execute deli procedures, including food prep and equipment operation (slicers, scales, fryers, ovens)
Maintain and merchandise deli cases; ensure proper rotation and display standards
Build strong relationships with store teams and department managers
Report store activity, opportunities, and issues to management
Support field sales initiatives as needed
Maintain logs, follow safety guidelines, and ensure compliance
What You Bring
1+ year in retail, sales, deli, or food service
Ability to work independently and travel across assigned territory
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Reliable transportation & clean driving record
Comfort with ovens, fryers, and general food prep
