Role Description This role can be remote or in-office in Palm Beach. It is a contract-based role, starting on a per project basis and potentially expanding to full time, if desired. The Paralegal will assist with closing documents, title and survey, diligence, and deal management. This role offers the ability to have flexibility while working closely with the firm’s founder to help make a long-term impact. It would be ideal for someone looking for a more hands‑on experience after working at a large law firm, or who wants to give back after many years of experience by helping an entrepreneurial founder build this firm from the ground up.
Qualifications
Highly organized and diligent. Very high on the conscientiousness scale.
“Can do” attitude and proactive mindset, having a genuine interest in helping the firm and its clients succeed.
Experience reviewing title and survey in depth and ability to solve title and survey issues with attorneys and underwriters through creative and experience-based solutions.
Adaptable and able to learn new skills to fit the needs of the firm and its clients.
Knowledge about entity formation process and basic entity setup, particularly in DE and FL.
High integrity - meaning, you are who you say you are. The "inside" matches the "outside" and you do what is right even when no one is watching and when cutting corners is more expedient.
Strong attention to detail, with experience drafting basic contracts for review by attorneys.
Commercial real estate and corporate law experience.
Professionalism in interacting with coworkers and clients, with an understanding of decorum.
