Description of Duties:
The Proposal Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This position is detail-oriented, highly organized, and part of a fast-paced, high-performing team supporting the development, coordination, and submission of compliant and compelling proposals for Amentum's Missile Defense Division.
The candidate will:
Develop, edit, and audit proposal documents including Basis of Estimate (BOE), Bill of Materials (BOM), Cost Proposal, and other Government-required documents
Respond to Task Order proposal requests from the Government
Track proposal due dates and develop/maintain schedules with Task Order teams
Analyze proposed costs and review for accuracy
Lead proposal kick-off and development meetings
Administer multiple proposal efforts concurrently
Coordinate with technical and program management teams on proposal documents
Conduct other proposal development duties as assigned
Maintain proposal files in SharePoint and internal shared drives
Effectively communicate proposal status summaries to management
The successful candidate will:
Perform tasks with minimal guidance and often under short timelines
Demonstrate responsiveness, flexibility, organization, and attention to detail
Manage shifting work priorities and multiple proposal deadlines
Possess a collaborative mindset with the motivation to be a self-starter
Be proficient in verbal and written communications with strong interpersonal skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Must have 4 or more years of general, full-time work experience
Must have 2 or more years of directly related experience in Proposal Development, Cost/Price Analysis, or Business Administration
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency with various industry proposal management tools
Compensation:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
