Job Summary As an Operations Specialist, you will provide support to our growing portfolio of residential communities by filling in at properties and lending an extra hand.

Responsibilities

Act as a Roving Property Manager by filling in at properties in the absence of a manager.

On assigned properties, directs the day‑to‑day activities of resident relations, maintenance, inspections, leasing, and other operations.

Assists in the hiring of new staff for assigned properties.

Supports properties on‑site during openings and takeovers.

Conducts site visits and completes special projects.

Provides guidance and assistance to struggling properties, as assigned.

Maintains customer service and excellent relations with residents, resident cooperatives, commercial tenants, outside agencies or vendors and organizations.

Ensures compliance with company policy, real estate law and state/federal guidelines.

Out‑of‑state travel is required on an as‑needed basis.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, One Note, Outlook, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat

Knowledge of Yardi and other Property Management software strongly preferred

Exceptional communication skills and ability to interact with wide range of people

Must be organized, detail oriented and have good time management skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule, understanding that your scheduled workdays may vary according to staffing and company needs

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities within established deadlines

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience and/or Training

3+ years of industry experience as a Property Manager.

Experience and understanding of Affordable Housing Programs (HUD Programs) is preferred.

CRM, CAM, COS, or other related professional certification preferred.
