Position Summary We are seeking an experienced

Amazon Advertising Manager – Canada

to lead the Sponsored Ads and DSP strategy for Conair’s portfolio on Amazon.ca. This role will be responsible for building Canada-specific advertising strategies that drive discoverability, conversion, and market share across key categories.

The ideal candidate understands the nuances of Amazon.ca, Canadian consumer behavior, and the local retail media landscape. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Canada and the U.S., as well as our external agency partners, to ensure advertising initiatives are aligned with overall business and retailer goals.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon.ca Advertising Strategy:

Develop and own the end-to-end strategy on Amazon.ca for Sponsored Ads, DSP display and video campaigns, partnering with the agency for hands‑on execution.

Cross-Functional Alignment:

Collaborate closely with brand, sales, and e-commerce teams to ensure advertising supports product launches, promotional cadences (Prime Day, Canada Cyber Week, Boxing Day, etc.), national media activations and overarching business goals.

Analysis & Optimization:

Monitor and interpret Amazon.ca campaign performance data (impressions, clicks, conversions, CPC, ROAS, etc.) to diagnose trends and drive continuous improvement.

Tools & Platforms:

Utilize Amazon tools (Advertising Console, DSP, AMC, Brand Analytics) and third-party platforms (i.e. Pacvue, Skai) for reporting and analysis.

Cross-Functional Communication:

Deliver clear performance updates, insights, and optimization recommendations on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis to cross‑functional partners on a regular basis serving as the Canadian Amazon Advertising subject matter expert.

Creative & Content Strategy:

Partner with brand and creative teams to develop Amazon.ca‑optimized assets and messaging tailored to Canadian consumer behavior, seasonal moments, category trends and product launches.

Innovation & Testing:

Pilot emerging ad formats, audience strategies, and targeting solutions available on Amazon.ca.

Partner with Amazon:

Work closely with Amazon.ca retail and ads account teams to incorporate category insights, competitive analysis, and beta opportunities into campaign strategies.

Stay Ahead of Trends:

Maintain deep expertise in the Canadian retail media landscape, Amazon.ca policy updates, shifts in consumer behavior, and marketplace trends.

Qualifications / Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

3-5 years related experience in retail media or performance marketing.

Strong understanding of the Amazon.ca ad ecosystem, Canadian retail media landscape, and reporting capabilities.

Experience managing and optimizing Amazon advertising campaigns with proven ROI.

Proficient in data analysis & performance tracking. Experience with campaign management platforms Pacvue / Skai.

Highly detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and performance-driven.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.

This role requires Stamford, CT office on-site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
