Position Summary
The Director of Creative Services reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations and serves as a member of the department staff that is committed to excellence and advancing the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics through its strategic plan and vision.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Assistant AD for Media Relations to direct all creative and innovative initiatives and content ensuring that the athletic and academic success of Central Arkansas Athletics and the Central Arkansas Athletics brand are widely recognized and appropriately utilized.
Supervising the creation of various department marketing materials including, but not limited to, digital content, print materials, promotional and highlight videos, and other creative content.
Maintain positive relationships with various members of the media covering Central Arkansas Athletics.
Identify and keep up to date with trends in the evolving world of sports content creation and distribution.
Maintain positive relationships and work closely with the Media Relations and External Relations teams to enhance and achieve departmental marketing and branding objectives to promote our department, student-athletes, coaches, and programs.
Provide direction for the Creative Services division, including extra help employees and student-workers who assist in the production of creative content; and assist with sports game day operations.
Comply with all NCAA , Atlantic Sun Conference, United Athletic Conference and institutional rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and/or Experience
Experience with and knowledge of various computer-based software for, but not limited to, content development and management (i.e. Adobe, Daktronics, or similar equipment experience)
Bachelor’s degree required, with applicable experience in creative services, video services, digital photography, or a related field
Nights, weekends, and ability to travel are essential
