Animal Kind Veterinary Hospital is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and experienced Medical Director to lead our thriving, nine-doctor companion animal practice in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn.

What You'll Do As Medical Director
You’ll continue seeing patients and practicing medicine while providing critical medical leadership for the hospital. This includes:
- Guiding and mentoring veterinarians and technicians
- Developing and refining medical protocols
- Partnering with the Practice Manager to drive hospital growth and efficiency
- Fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and support
- Leading with empathy and integrity, while championing high standards of care

Located in a charming building, our hospital is equipped to handle a wide variety of cases:
- 6 modern exam rooms
- Dedicated staff space on top floor for breaks and offices
- Dental suite with digital dental radiographs and trained dental techs
- Fully equipped treatment area, isolation ward, and in-house lab
- In House ultrasound and echo
- Experienced well trained Licensed Technicians on staff and ability to manage complex cases
- Grooming services and boarded surgeon & cardiologist available by appointment
- Modern cloud based PIMS with integrated labs and imaging
About You
- DVM (or equivalent) with active New York State license
- 5+ years of veterinary experience
- Strong communicator and collaborative leader
- Passionate about mentorship, protocol development, and medical excellence
- Able to coach, delegate, and support a high-performing team
- Organized, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented
