Director of Financial Aid Consultant – Ellucian Colleague

Location: Greater New Orleans area, 12‑month engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Aid director with a minimum of five years of recent, director‑level management and leadership experience in a fast‑paced financial aid office, and must demonstrate proficiency with Ellucian Colleague. Prior consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct knowledge of complex compliance issues, including reconciliation, R2T4, SAP review and compliance, as well as institutional, program and student‑level eligibility.
• Administrator of financial aid programs; manage responsibilities in both strategic and functional capacities.
• Oversee staff and office needs independently; manage staff and communicate complex compliance issues and other important issues to non‑FA staff and executives.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and ability to manage staff and office needs independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent director‑level management and leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Ellucian Colleague.
• Direct knowledge of complex compliance issues: reconciliation, R2T4, SAP review and compliance, institutional, program and student‑level eligibility.
• Experience administering financial aid programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to convey complex compliance information to non‑FA staff and executives.
