Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Job Details

We are seeking a full‑time, permanent Clinical Director in Santa Cruz, CA. The successful candidate will lead and oversee behavioral health programs through clinical supervision, program operations, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement clinical programs that align with the organization's strategic plan.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of clinical staff to ensure high‑quality behavioral health services.
  • Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to identify and address patient care needs and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to behavioral health services.
  • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of latest trends and advancements in behavioral health.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss patient care, department operations, and pertinent issues.
  • Coordinate with community agencies and other healthcare providers to promote integrated care for patients.
  • Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Active California LMFT or LCSW.
  • Must meet BBS qualifications to provide clinical supervision.
  • At least 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision to a team within the youth mental health field.
  • Strong skills in training and development.
