Role
We are looking for an intellectually curious and highly motivated Director of Revenue Analytics to be a foundational member of our Data team. You will lead, grow, and scale a division of the analytics team focused on providing rapid analysis and actionable predictive insights. You will balance the human element of leading a team, with the analytical realities of a rapidly changing and growing business, and should feel comfortable scaling and leading a team of up to 20 people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a division of data scientists and data analysts.
- Own your domain, responsible for the results and analytics of your area to drive insight and informed recommendations for the business.
- Create and share the vision for the broader Analytics team and work with leadership to transform it into a driving force in strategy and operations of the company.
- Foster a culture of analytical experts that is focused on maximizing the customer experience to drive top‑line and bottom‑line growth.
- Coach, develop, and scale a team that is excited to be part of the organization in anticipation of the growing demands of the business.
- Shape the company and analytics roadmap through data‑driven decisions across core functions of the business and executive leadership.
- Spearhead the strategic data‑driven vision that captures billion‑dollar GMV opportunities.
- Organize and shape the collective understanding of business health and opportunities through various data sources both internal and external.
- Act as cross‑functional leader driving cohesive decision making and actions across teams.
Team members in this role must live within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, or New York hubs. We offer flexibility to work from home or from one of our global office hubs and value in‑person time for planning, problem‑solving, and connection.

You will be adept in navigating the data stack and able to support initiatives in all facets from data engineering and product analytics to machine learning and service deployments. You feel comfortable making decisions and working quickly and iteratively.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in the Data Analytics field.
- 4+ years of experience leading a team, with a minimum team size of 5.
- Previous experience working with marketplaces, e‑commerce, mobile gaming, or social media.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills to stakeholders, leadership, and investors.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Business Analysis, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related technical fields.
- Industry experience with proven ability to apply scientific methods to solve real‑world problems on large‑scale data.
- Proven track record of building and leading data science teams supporting international expansion, go‑to‑market, product, marketing, finance, or operations teams.
- Ability to lead initiatives across multiple product areas and communicate findings with leadership and stakeholders.
- Comfortability with data warehouses and big data technologies such as Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, Presto, Athena, Spark, DBT.
- Expert in using SQL and scripting languages for data analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Firm grasp of visualization tools, interactive and self‑serving, such as business intelligence and notebooks.
Compensation
- $215,000 – $330,000 per year (base salary) plus benefits and equity.
- Final salary based on level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise.
