A F&B manufacturer in the Mid-Atlantic is hiring a Plant Director to oversee one of its most complex and critical operations. This executive-level leader will own plant performance across Manufacturing, Distribution, and Quality, with full accountability for safety, service, compliance, and profitability.
This role leads three key pillars of the operation:
- Director of Operations
- Director of Distribution
- Director of Quality Assurance
This is a true site-head role – ideal for a senior food manufacturing leader who thrives in regulated, high-volume, fast-moving environments.
What You’ll Own
Operations & Manufacturing
- End-to-end leadership of F&B production operations including sanitation, safety, efficiency, and cost
- Drive plant KPIs across OEE, yield, downtime, labor, and waste
- Budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning for the site
- Continuous improvement across processes, equipment, and people
Distribution & Supply Chain
- Oversight of warehousing, transportation, and inventory
- Optimization of logistics, fleet, and 3PL partnerships
- Systems-driven visibility into service, cost, and customer satisfaction
Quality & Food Safety
- Leadership of SQF, food safety, and quality programs
- Audit readiness, inspections, testing, and corrective actions
- Ensuring product integrity across F&B operations
- Driving a culture of “quality first” across all departments
Leadership Scope
- Direct leadership of Operations, Distribution, and QA Directors
- Building a high-performance, accountable leadership culture
- Coaching, succession planning, and performance managementPartnering with corporate leadership on strategy and growth
What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years of senior leadership in food manufacturing
- Experience running regulated food operations
- Proven track record leading Operations, QA, and Distribution together
- Financial acumen with budgets, P&L, and capital projects
- Data-driven, hands‑on, and comfortable making fast, high-impact decisions
