Regional Director, Acute Programs
The Regional Director, Acute Programs is responsible for overseeing the operation of acute dialysis programs in an assigned geographic region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee overall operation of assigned acute programs from fiscal, clinical, technical, regulatory and personnel perspectives.
- Organize and coordinate all acute program development from opportunity identification through opening.
- Oversee patient admission and volume tracking by therapy.
- Work with Administrators to develop optimal staffing and patient schedules.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual projections based on financial and management objectives.
- Achieve financial targets including budget, labor costs, supply costs and expenditures.
- Review incident reports and take corrective action.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all treatments, activities and communications.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulations and company standards.
- Assist with Corrective Action Plans and audit follow‑up.
- Communicate program status to regional management and partners.
- Develop physician and referral source relationships and oversee local marketing.
- Promote company mission, ethics and customer service standards.
- Supervise hiring, performance evaluation, and personnel management.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years prior management experience in multi‑site healthcare or 5-10 years managing a dialysis center.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or nursing (or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
- Strong public relations skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and USRC applications.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
