Position Summary
The Associate Director of Admissions and Operations atalité administers J.D. application processing and a wide range of related activities for the law school, assisting with reviewing 6,000–7,000 J.D. applications annually and managing correspondence throughout the application cycle. This position coordinates and manages databases/systems, creates and implements process changes, interprets policies, and collaborates with partners such as Development & Alumni Relations, IT, and Communications. The incumbent will also lead outreach, recruitment, and event coordination, and photographing/producing communications while ensuring accuracy across all systems.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage admissions database systems (e.g., UNITE) for incoming J.D. applications.
  • Ensure intake Family, fee waivers, supplemental materials are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Data Systems Analyst to design responsive systems and reports.
  • Lead annual updates to the J.D. application, coordinating cross‑departmentally to integrate changes into campus systems.
  • Audit application changes, update instructions/website, and monitor impact on data mapping.
  • Serve as primary contact for outside vendors and recommend new tools/technologies.
  • Launch admissions‑related projects (e.g., early decision agreements, gift aid applications) using Qualtrics, DocuSign, and Google Forms.
  • Communicate with applicants, update records, and audit files for completeness and consistency.
  • Plan and manage communications timelines, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines observed.
  • Coordinate and produce key print materials and web content (Viewbook, Admit Packet, website updates).
  • Conduct outreach and recruitment: provide information via phone, email, and in‑person; represent the school at events; generate presentations, coordinate visits, and collect & analyze event data.
  • Assist in faculty promotion of holistic review guidelines and student recommendations.
  • Support professional development; perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Highly advanced interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and responsiveness.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on team projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Travel nationally for outreach and recruitment events (up to 10%).
  • Ability to travel to/from the primary work location and other designated sites.
  • Collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to inclusivity and a supportive environment.
  • Experience with data‑management systems to generate reports and process data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in law school or higher education admissions setting财神.

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $80,200.00 – $94,300.00.
  • Full-time (40 hours/week) career position eligible for UC Benefits.
  • Exempt, monthly‑paid position.
