General Summary:

Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle. Formulates and executes long‑term roadmaps for cost/profit control. Promotes use of new գործուն technologies and industry‑leading trends. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
  • 4+ years of working in a large matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years of working with operating budgets and/or project financials.
  • 2+ years of negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews identified gaps in market demands based on complex analysesוניות and makes portfolio decisions on how these gaps impact product roadmaps.
  • Validates business cases and determines relevance to organizational strategy; contributes to creating the product roadmap to advance organizational strategy and goals.
  • Drives portfolio launch strategies and identifies technical marketing opportunities such as conferences, congresses, and direct customer contact to ensure successful product launches.
  • Prepares and delivers technical presentations regarding product roadmaps, RFPs, and/or proposals to demonstrate products to customers and incorporates customer feedback into project roadmaps.
  • Acts as the authority on creating a differentiated roadmap for a product portfolio, facilitates decision‑making between cross‑functional leaders, and achieves buy‑in from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducts cross‑functional conversations about developing a product portfolio that meets customer needs and aligns with product roadmaps.
  • Reviews development and definition activities for new and emerging technology product portfolios, determining cost impact and continually reviewing ROI of specific products.
  • Establishes long‑term portfolio innovation strategy, product roadmaps, and IP strategies while addressing gaps and maintaining customer interests and product roadmap alignment.
  • Communicates through a structured plan with internal customers, third‑party vendors, and senior management to build relationships, ensure alignment, and achieve product goals while managing planned changes.
  • Ensures cross‑functional collaboration by guaranteeing Engineering and other internal partners meet customer expectations, promised deadlines, and align with overall roadmap for the product portfolio.
  • Translates customer needs, product roadmaps, and organizational strategy into successful product portfolios and facilitates necessary decisions for product delivery with cross‑functional leaders.

Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$227,700.00 – $341,500.00.
