The Job at a Glance

As the Senior Director of Fulfillment Center Operations, you will lead all aspects of operations for a single, high-growth site. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire fulfillment process . You will be responsible for leading a strong team, driving operational excellence, and creating a culture of safety, quality, and engagement. You are a hands-on leader who loves to oversee both inbound and outbound operations, constantly problem solving, and always has process improvement in mind . The Senior Director will strategically balance costs, service levels, and productivity to enhance operational reliability and drive overall business success. This facility currently supports 100 team members and is expected to double in size so if you thrive in rapid growth this role is if you!

A Typical Day

  • Provide leadership and execute operational strategies to support site growth and scalability
  • Manage all core Fulfillment center functions: Receiving, Put Away, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Returns, Inventory Control, Maintenance
  • Ensure daily operations meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
  • Mentor a leadership team of directors, senior managers, managers and supervisors
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning
  • Define and monitor site-level KPIs for efficiency, accuracy, and cost control
  • Oversee site Capital and OpEx budgets and spending
  • Champion safety as a core value and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
  • Works closely across different teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintains relationships with suppliers, 3PLs (Third-Party Logistics providers), and other external stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Works closely with supply chain, procurement, sales, and customer service to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
  • Support sales and manufacturer partnerships teams to help win new partnerships and expand existing ones.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You’re an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal)
  • 7 + years of experience in high-volume distribution center operations , (bonus points if you worked in an automated DC)
  • 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in MS Office (Excel required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus
  • You naturally lead by example and never fully separate yourself from the day-to-day operation.
  • You enjoy motivating your team to reach new production goals. You thrive on change management and enjoy keeping up with a fast-growing environment

The salary range for this role is $125,798.02 - 187,926.22 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
