Director of Business Development – Healthcare SaaS

Tri-State Area (Hybrid)

$100K–$120K Base + Uncapped Commission (OTE $200K–$250K) + Equity Potential

Summary

A fast-growing healthcare technology startup serving Skilled Nursing Facilities and post-acute providers is seeking a senior Business Development hire. This role will own revenue growth end-to-end for a high-traction patient engagement platform with strong product-market fit and rapid adoption across the SNF market.

This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role ideal for a proven SNF sales professional who thrives in early-stage environments, builds pipeline from scratch, and takes full ownership of results.

Responsibilities

  • Own full business development lifecycle: outreach, pitching, trials, and close

  • Build and manage a pipeline of SNF and post-acute operators across the Tri-State area

  • Drive outbound sales, referrals, conference networking, and relationship-based selling

  • Effectively position a patient engagement SaaS solution with clear clinical, compliance, and revenue ROI

  • Coordinate with founders and internal team on demos, trials, and customer onboarding

  • Maintain structured follow-up and reporting; operate with full ownership and accountability

  • Support expansion of additional products as the company grows

  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling into SNF

  • Strong business development background with a track record of closing recurring-revenue deals

  • Self-starter mentality; comfortable building process without heavy infrastructure

  • Highly organized, disciplined, and reliable with strong follow-through

  • Comfortable operating independently in a lean, founder-led startup environment
