Director of Finance up to $230k/yr - RealEstate
We are seeking a Director ofFinance. This individual will play a key role in overseeing corporateaccounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting, with exposure to privateequity and real estate investments. Working closely with the CFO of a well-known international commercial real estate brand, this is an exciting leadership opportunitywith potential for growth.
This role is available due to an upcoming retirement.
Responsibilities
- Overseeaccounting, reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities and realestate/private equity investments
- Preparecorporate budgets and manage quarterly lender reporting
- Managecorporate cash flow, invoicing, receivables, and owner distributions
- Overseepayroll, 401k, and worker compensation audits
- Assistwith tax planning and estimates for ownership
- Ensurecompliance with treasury activities and internal controls
- Superviseaudits for corporate entities and investment funds
- Supportcapital planning and structuring of acquisitions and joint ventures
- Preparereports and analyze industry trends
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’sdegree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPAdesignation with a mix of public and private experience
- 10+years of senior level accounting experience within the real estate industry
- Astrong background in REITs, open-ended funds, and private fund structures
- Knowledgeof tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps,and K-1s
