Client Sales Representative

Institute on Aging seeks an experienced and dynamic Client Sales Representative to join our Connect call center team. You will play a crucial role in providing information and support to adults with disabilities, older adults, their families, and caregivers. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming calls, conducting outbound sales calls, offering resources, connecting prospective clients to appropriate services, and driving sales. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. Connect Client Sales Representative reports to the Call Center Sales Manager. Responsibilities: Answer inquiries via Omni channels - inbound calls, emails, chat and office walk-in. Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients and leads, showcasing the benefits of our programs and services. Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall growth and success of the Institute on Aging. Upsell and cross-sell additional services, identifying solutions that meet the unique needs of each prospective client. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to foster loyalty and trust. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. Follow up with clients to provide ongoing support and ensure their needs are met. Product Knowledge and Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Institute on Aging's services, programs, and offerings. Stay up to date with internal program updates, industry trends, market competition, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to strategize and implement marketing and sales campaigns effectively. Share insights and feedback from client interactions to improve marketing and sales strategies and client experience. Collaborate and foster relationships with various departments to ensure smooth handovers and client transitions between departments. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Log, record and maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using our tracking process and technology. Requirements: Experience and Education: Proven track record of at least 3-5 years as a successful sales representative in a call center or similar environment. At least at College-level - required, and additional relevant certifications or coursework is a plus. Sales Skills: Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to convert leads into sales and overcome objections. Ability to listen actively to prospective clients, understand and identify their needs to offer appropriate solutions. Strong ability to apply common sense and decision-making skills to benefit the prospective clients. Understanding the importance of KPIs and metrics is required. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage clients effectively. Empathy, patience and compassion to communicate with adults with disabilities, older adults and their families, showing understanding and care. Goal-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics. Adaptability: Fast learner and able to succeed in a dynamic environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in sales strategies or solutions. Ability to multi-task is a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and proficiency. Empathy and Sensitivity: Display genuine empathy, sensitivity, and respect for the needs and concerns of elderly clients. Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of a computer, plug-in and wireless headset. Knowledge of computer and technical troubleshooting is a PLUS. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (knowledge about HubSpot is a PLUS), and software and phone skills. Compensation: Range: $ 26 - $ 30/hourly This amount is not necessarily reflective of actual compensation that may be earned, nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on actual experience, education and other factors.
