Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments
  • Provide accurate information regarding clinic services, procedures, and policies
  • Collect and verify patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Assist patients with appointment rescheduling, cancellations, and follow-up instructions
  • Document interactions accurately in the clinics electronic health record system
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate patient care and communication
  • Handle patient concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or customer service training preferred
  • Previous experience in a call center, healthcare setting, or customer service role is advantageous
  • Medical terminology required
  • Experience with EHR system preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and basic computer applications
