We're looking for a
Provider Ambassador
to own and grow an assigned region. Building strong relationships with Member Dentist and Provider Offices. This role is about more than numbers—it's about walking alongside dentists as allies, meeting providers where they are in their practice journey, and removing barriers so they can focus on delivering great care.

The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $55,400.00 and $83,100.00. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates—including Arcora Foundation, Delta Dental of Washington, and TriForza—will offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on the candidate's geographic location.
Essential Responsibilities Territory & Strategy
Manage and optimize territory performance to achieve growth, retention, and operational goals
Develop and execute territory strategies using DDWA tools and resources
Daily Zoom or in‑person outreach to dental office staff/providers to educate and provide support for growth and opportunities
Provider Relationships & Support
Build and sustain provider and dental office partnerships through in‑person visits and digital outreach
Educate and train offices on new products, system improvements, and conduct onsite dental reviews
Serve as a trusted partner, tailoring support to provider needs
Maintain strong relationships across all Delta PR teams, ensuring cross‑collaboration and lessons learned are shared
Network Development & Growth
Recruit, develop, and maintain provider participation in Delta Dental networks to meet individual and team goals
Report on provider trends and inquiries with recommendations for improvement
Identify providers "at risk" of termination and conduct save calls to maintain network volume
Industry & Cross‑Functional Engagement
Serve as a representative of DDWA at dental associations, conferences, and educational workshops, strengthening relationships and brand presence within the provider community
Act as a subject‑matter expert for Provider Relations, contributing provider insights to cross‑functional initiatives to ensure strategic solutions reflect the provider perspective
Identify and cultivate opportunities for providers and office staff to partner with DDWA
Leadership & Mentorship
Model team collaboration, identify creative solutions, and exemplify DDWA's core values
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree +/or 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination, preferred
Background in provider network support or in sales and customer service roles, preferably within the dental or health insurance industry
Business acumen with experience in education, negotiation and empathy
Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work with little supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ability to prepare presentations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable speaking in public and giving presentations; able to interpret and explain policies/procedures
Outstanding time and project management skills; organized, flexible, adaptable self‑starter; proven ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrate strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and synthesize data from multiple sources, communicate insights effectively, make informed recommendations and support change initiatives
Model DDWA core values; represent DDWA professionally in territory and industry settings
Travel
This position requires regular travel within the State of Washington, and occasional out of state travel
Ability to travel Statewide approximately 50%-65% of the time
Valid WA State driver's license; reliable vehicle and insurance; ability to represent DDWA professionally
