Overview This role is responsible for the full technical lifecycle of building HTML-based email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The focus is on coding, testing, and deploying responsive, dynamic templates that support personalization and large-scale versioning, while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality execution.

Responsibilities

Email Development

– Create responsive email templates from scratch using hand‑coded HTML/CSS. Build flexible frameworks that support dynamic content and personalized variations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting

– Conduct thorough testing across major email clients, browsers, and devices (desktop and mobile). Resolve rendering issues, layout problems, and other code‑related defects to ensure flawless delivery.

Template Enhancement & Optimization

– Refine, restructure, or fully recode existing HTML templates to align with updated design standards. Perform image editing and adapt creative assets as needed.

Best Practices & Compliance

– Serve as a subject‑matter resource on email production standards, accessibility considerations, and deployment best practices. Ensure all messages meet regulatory requirements such as CAN‑SPAM, CASL, and GDPR. Stay current with trends in email development and marketing technology.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional email development experience

Deep expertise in HTML/CSS coding specifically for email (not web)

Strong proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including: Email Studio, Mobile Studio and AMPScript

Proven ability to build emails with extensive versioning (e.g., 30+ variations)

Experience creating responsive email layouts

Familiarity with server‑side JavaScript and reading JSON

Strong debugging and render‑testing skills

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and animated GIFs

Job Type & Location This is a contract position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
