The Federal Pursuits Manager is responsible for leading Michels Corporation’s pursuit of federal construction opportunities. This role partners with operating companies to develop winning strategies and deliver compliant, compelling proposals for agencies such as USACE, NAVFAC, and other federal clients. The Federal Pursuits Manager ensures Michels’ proposals meet all federal acquisition requirements and reflect a deep understanding of agency priorities. Why MICON Group, Inc.?

7+ years of experience in federal contracting or proposal management supporting Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction projects procured via IFB, LPTA, and Best Value Trade-Off (BVTO) processes Direct experience as a USACE or NAVFAC Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist or proven success leading federal proposals Strong understanding of the FAR/DFARS and the AFARS or NMCARS, and federal acquisition processes Strong working knowledge of FAR Parts 14 (Sealed Bidding), 15 (Contracting by Negotiation), and 36 (Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts) Exceptional technical writing and editing skills Ability to manage complex proposals under tight deadlines Preferred:

Familiarity with USACE Acquisition Instruction (UAI), EM 385-1-1, NAVFAC UFC, and federal QA/QC standards Interested in building your career at Michels Corporation?
