We are currently hiring a full‑time
Brewery Representative
in
Boston, MA . The territory covers key Boston neighborhoods (East Boston, Revere, Brighton, Allston, Brookline and Dorchester). The ideal candidate will live in the Boston area or surrounding suburbs.
The Brewery Representative works autonomously to develop new accounts and maintain current accounts within the industry. A high emphasis is placed on increasing the availability and visibility of products in new and existing accounts by using consultative sales tactics. Please note that although this position is listed as “working remotely”, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
What You'll Brew
Sell our entire BBC product portfolio
100% focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts (bars/restaurants, liquor/grocery stores/convenient stores)
Identify major accounts that are not currently selling BBC products and develop a plan to establish business with such accounts
Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point‑of‑sale items to increase brand visibility
Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed, products are received, and business is growing at accounts
Conduct waitstaff/bartender education, beer tastings and evening promotions
Workday conditions vary greatly due to the customer‑facing nature of the role
May be required to work weekends and holidays to support business needs
Occasional travel for meetings and training
Regular travel within the market to service retailers and wholesalers
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of proven results‑oriented experience in outside sales or within the food & beverage industry
An intense competitive spirit with an assertive, confident personality
Valid driver’s license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point‑of‑sale items frequently
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Level 8
Salary Salary range: $47,000 – $69,500 per year. The position also qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles may include a car allowance.
