Position Overview State Farm Insurance Agent located in Stone Mountain, GA, we are seeking a professional and proactive Customer Service Receptionist to serve as the face of our organization. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all visitors and clients, responsible for creating a warm, professional, and welcoming environment. Provide administrative support with light customer service duties, ensuring that every interaction—whether in person, over the phone, or via email—reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Oversee a multi-line phone system, screening and routing calls with active listening skills
Process client payments, act as the first line of support for customer inquiries regarding billing, services or account status.
Brand representation—need to generate a positive impression through professional appearance and consistent hospitality standards.
Hourly plus commission/bonus (potential full-time position)

Requirements
Experience: 2+ years in a receptionist, front desk, or high-touch customer service role
Enthusiastic about the role that insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Soft Skills—exceptional emotional intelligence, work well under stress, and the ability to maintain a professional presence in a face pace environment
Technical proficiency with Outlook, experience with customer relationship management software or billing software
Property and Casualty license (must be willing/able to obtain)
Bi-lingual (preferred)
This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents’ employees are not employees of State Farm.
