Cabinet Finisher/Wood Finisher

Custom cabinet company is seeking experienced cabinet finisher to join our custom cabinetry shop. This role involves finishing high-end custom cabinets and millwork, with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and attention to detail. Ideal candidates take pride in the craftmanship and have hands-on experience with professional finishing systems. Responsibilities include preparing cabinets and components for finishing (sanding, filling, masking). Applying stains, paints, sealers, and topcoats (conversion varnish, lacquer, or similar systems). Spray finishes using HVLP or similar spray equipment. Match colors and finishes accurately. Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe and organized finishing area. Work closely with shop team to meet production schedules. Qualifications: Two years of experience in cabinet or wood finishing preferred. Experience with spray finishing systems (conversion varnish experience a plus). Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to lift 50ibs and stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to read work orders. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience. Steady, year-round work.
