The Mascot Performer will be responsible for bringing the LouCity and Racing mascots to life by delivering high-energy, engaging, and family-friendly interactions at matches, community events, appearances, and internal Club activities. This role plays a key part in enhancing the fan experience, promoting the Clubs' brands, and creating memorable moments for supporters of all ages.
This is a part-time, hourly position. Hours will vary based on match schedules and special events. Shifts typically include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Each scheduled shift will be a minimum of two (2) hours.
This position requires strict confidentiality of mascot identity at all times. The individual selected for this role must not disclose, confirm, or imply their identity as a mascot performer, including on social media or in personal or professional settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Perform as the LouCity and/or Racing mascot at home matches, community events, partner activations, and special appearances. Deliver fun, energetic, and animated interactions with fans, especially children, while maintaining the mascot's personality and character integrity. Participate in on-field promotions, in-stadium entertainment segments, and pre-game or halftime activities as assigned. Work closely with the Game Presentation and Marketing teams to execute scheduled routines, fan engagement hits, photo opportunities, and scripted elements. Maintain the mascot costume, ensuring it is clean, presentable, and cared for after each use (cleaning, storing, and reporting any needed repairs). Uphold safety guidelines at all times, including heat-management breaks during hot weather and safe movement in crowds or confined spaces. Assist with content creation, including participating in photo/video shoots and social media moments when needed. Represent LouCity and Racing in a professional, friendly, and inclusive manner at all times. Maintains confidentiality of mascot identity. Other duties and projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS:
Due to fixed mascot costume sizing and safety requirements, candidates must be between 5'7" and 5'10" in height to perform the essential functions of the role. Prior performance experience preferred (mascotting, theatre, dance, cheer, etc.) but not required. Comfortable performing in a full-body costume, including working in warm temperatures and limited visibility. Ability to deliver high-energy performances for extended periods. Strong crowd-interaction skills and comfort engaging with fans of all ages. Ability to take direction, follow scripts, and adapt quickly in live environments. Must be available for home matchdays (nights and weekends) and occasional community or sponsor events. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods. Successful completion of a pre-employment comprehensive background check is required. Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States at the time of hire without employer sponsorship now or in the future. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).
