Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities across industrial subsectors
- Build and review detailed financial models (LBO, operating cases, sensitivities)
- Lead commercial, financial, and operational diligence workstreams
- Prepare investment committee materials and internal memos
- Support transaction execution and ongoing portfolio company initiatives
- Work closely with senior leadership, advisors, and management teams
Candidate Profile
- 1–4 years of experience in:
- Investment Banking (M&A) or
- Private Equity (Associate level, open to laterals)
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills
- Demonstrated interest in private equity and industrial businesses
- Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
- Strong ties to Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia (personal or professional)
