Gem Star is a diamond jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler known for its Classic Bridal Jewelry Collections, as well as its Fashion Jewelry and Valued Price Point Products. We have been servicing independent jewelers as well as small jewelry chains with best selling designs that have also evolved into more Contemporary Silhouettes with our use of exotic cut diamonds and color that give our products an enhanced value and ultimately a better price structure.


GSI, LLC is looking for a knowledgeable, motivated, results oriented Inside Sales Representative, to help grow our existing business and develop new business through our marketing channels.


Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective Customers
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing Customers
  • Develop and grow new business relationships through outbound calls to generate Sales
  • Make outbound contact to existing Customers by phone and email to generate Sales
  • Process incoming on-line and call-in orders onto LogicMate system
  • Expedite and manage the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed upon Sales targets and outcomes within desired deadlines set forth by Sales Manager
  • Coordinate sales efforts with Sale Manager and other internal Departments
  • Work with Sale Manager to analyze designated territories and new markets for potential sales


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Inside Sales Representative (2 years)
  • Proven work experience in Customer Service
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in generating Sales through outbound calls, in person and/or email
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills, a must
  • Ability to build professional business relationships with existing Customers, as well as new businesses to generate potential sales/growth
  • Ability to deal with Customer complaints and handle Customer rejections
  • Ability to enter Customer Sales Orders in user-friendly computerized system
  • Strong Customer Service skills, both verbal and written
  • Time management, prioritizing, organizational skills, a must
  • Team oriented
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Two-year Degree a plus
