Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to serve as our Sr. Director of Total Rewards and People Operations. This is a key role that will help drive the overall transformation of the company. This leader will drive and oversee the Design & Strategy Global Compensation and Global Rewards M&A to ensure that our programs attract, retain, and reward the right talent in the right roles in the right markets while aligning with business goals and financial priorities. The Sr Director, Total Rewards & People Operations is responsible for shaping and operating a modern, scalable, and compliant global rewards and people operations ecosystem that supports Power Integrations’ business strategy, growth, and culture.
This leader brings strategic depth in total rewards, operational excellence, and digital leadership, including ownership of HR technology transformation (Workday) and the application of AI-enabled practices across compensation, workforce analytics, and people operations.
The role reports to the Chief People and Transformation Officer and partners closely with the CEO, CFO, Legal, Finance, and the Board Compensation Committee, and serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on rewards, governance, and workforce insights.
Key Responsibilities Global Compensation Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute a global compensation strategy aligned with business priorities and talent strategy
Champion pay equity, fairness, and transparency across geographies
Drive global job architecture and leveling frameworks
Lead compensation-related M&A integration activities
Partner with Global Incentive Compensation to ensure a holistic rewards approach
Compensation Programs & Market Competitiveness
Design and deliver salary structures, merit, promotions, equity, and compensation policies
Lead annual compensation cycles and long-range planning
Conduct market reviews in all geographies to maintain competitive positioning
Ensure compliance with global pay regulations
Lead regular pay equity audits
Executive, Equity & Board Compensation
Partner with CEO, CFO, and Board on executive compensation and equity programs
Support the Board Compensation Committee
Ensure compliance with public-company standards
People Operations & Infrastructure
Lead global People Operations including HRIS, benefits, and data analytics
Ensure operational excellence and scalability
Deliver a consistent employee experience with strong internal controls
Digital Transformation, Workday & AI Enablement
Own HR digital transformation roadmap including Workday implementation
Drive AI-enabled practices in analytics, predictive modeling, and automation
Partner with IT and Finance on systems scalability and security
Build strong data governance and insights capabilities
Analytics, Insights & Decision Support
Leverage analytics to assess rewards effectiveness
Provide executive reporting on compensation and market trends
Translate complex data into actionable insights
Compliance, Risk & Governance
Ensure compliance with SEC, FASB, IFRS, ERISA, and global labor laws
Partner with Legal and Finance on audits and governance
Support European Works Councils and regional governance requirements
Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead a high-performing global team
Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Model inclusive leadership with a growth mindset
Qualifications & Experience
15+ years of Total Rewards leadership experience, including executive-level roles
Deep expertise in broad-based and executive compensation
Experience with global benefits and retirement programs
Experience advising C-suite and Board Compensation Committees
Proven success managing complex, multinational programs
Experience leading Workday implementation and advanced analytics

Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $240,000 to $300,000.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
