Position The Wellness Advisor is most often the first and last point of contact for current students as well prospective students. The best Wellness Advisors are friendly, outgoing and curious individuals who are dedicated to learning about the students that the studio serves. This curiosity allows them the ability to make expert format, membership/package, and retail recommendations based on the student’s goals. Additionally, they ensure the studio is a clean and inviting space.
Duties
New Member Acquisition & Retention – Support prospective students through the life cycle from booking appointments, contacting leads timely to achieve daily, weekly, monthly quotas.
Studio Tours & Education – Be knowledgeable about products, programs, pricing; conduct studio tours, build rapport to facilitate sales.
Membership Sales – Present the best membership or class package option based on the student’s goals; meet and exceed sales goals set by the General Manager.
Retail – Promote and sell retail items within the studio, restock and refresh display areas as needed.
Retention – Ensure new members are onboarded properly; assist with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment.
Studio Operations & Promotion – Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and inviting environment; participate in community events to promote the studio.
Job Requirements
Communication & People Skills – Fluent in English; excellent communication & strong interpersonal skills in person, on the phone and via email.
Customer Service – Strong customer service skills; strong phone skills.
Driven & Eager to Learn – Goal-oriented; ability to achieve sales targets; able to learn and use the studio software system; proficient computer skills.
Travel & Events – Daily and/or occasional travel may be required; attend special events and training as needed.
Critical Thinking – Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment, using sound judgment.
Physical Requirements
May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time; reach with hands and arms; bend, lift, kneel, drive a car; climb stairs; occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception; adjust and focus.
Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone.
