In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Summary
Paralegals provide general, day-to-day support for the legal team in a cross-functional capacity providing support for projects and actions including litigation management, ethics, intellectual property, corporate governance, compliance and legal operations, records and information management, knowledge management, policy updates and version control, outside counsel coordination, and associated administrative requirements. Duties and Responsibilities
Provide general support to the legal team working on cross-functional projects requiring basic legal, and compliance related research, data capture/entry, and data analysis. Receive and respond to internal and external information and support requests, and ensure they are appropriately assigned to subject matter experts as needed and in a timely manner. Interface with outside counsel, internal lawyers and LC&E team members, and other FM&T functions, divisions, stakeholders, and team members. Support document production, review, proof reading, editing and formatting. Rapidly produce extensive reports with complete data. You Must Have
Three years education and paralegal experience through a combination of: Paralegal Certification from an Accredited Institution, Associate's Degree in a related field, and demonstrably successful paralegal experience. Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business. United States Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance. We Value
Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Office Suite,
Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint, PowerBI and Power Apps , document management software, and on-line research tools. Paralegal experience working with a government agency, or in-house legal office. Experience with data-driven process audits, and risk/data driven decision making. Superior verbal, written and communication skills. Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision as an individual, or member of a team. Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Acute attention to detail, results-driven problem-solver with an emphasis on accuracy and quality. Functions with high degree of intrinsic confidentiality, tact and diplomacy and can be trusted with highly confidential materials and sensitive information. Desires new challenges and responsibilities and interested in broadening spectrum of technical and substantive knowledge.
