The Impact You’ll Make As a Real Estate Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping how Clemens Development deploys capital across different asset classes. Your analysis will directly influence high-dollar investment acquisition, adaptive reuse and development decisions, helping the business evaluate risk, prioritize opportunities, and make confident, data-driven choices that support operational growth and long-term value creation.
What You’ll Do
Build and underwrite financial models and proformas for real estate investment and development opportunities
Evaluate and prioritize a large pipeline of active opportunities using risk-adjusted return metrics
Conduct market and submarket research to support assumptions around rents, demand, and growth
Analyze financing structures, capital market conditions, and refinancing scenarios
Prepare clear investment summaries and recommendations for senior leadership
What You’ll Bring to the Role
3+ years of experience in commercial real estate investment analysis or market research
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, including IRR/XIRR, DCF, cash-on-cash returns, and scenario analysis
Strong understanding of commercial leases and lease language
Experience with market research and real estate tools such as Argus, CoStar, or similar platforms
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build scalable, defensible models from scratch
Ability to manage multiple active opportunities simultaneously with minimal oversight
Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills

Confident making objective recommendations based on return metrics
