Client Relations Manager (CRM)
is a high-impact, borrower-facing role that partners closely with Loan Originators to manage relationships and oversee loans from origination through post-close. This individual serves as a strategic point of contact for borrowers while ensuring operational execution aligns with credit policy, internal workflows, and closing timelines. The ideal candidate brings strong lending operations experience combined with exceptional client communication skills. This role requires hands-on involvement in documentation review, pipeline management, internal coordination, and borrower engagement to ensure a seamless loan experience. Client Relations Manager Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the entire loan lifecycle Provide proactive updates, manage expectations, and maintain consistent follow-up to keep loans on track Conduct initial review of borrower and third-party documentation for completeness, accuracy, and relevance Ensure documentation is properly prepared prior to escalation to underwriting and compliance teams Maintain daily oversight of assigned loan pipelines from underwriting through post-funding Coordinate internal handoffs and proactively escalate potential delays or issues Partner with Loan Originators and Underwriters to align borrower documentation with credit policy and entity structures Assist in presenting borrower strengths and addressing potential risk considerations Act as a liaison between borrowers and internal teams including Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Servicing, and Capital Markets Ensure loan milestones are met and execution aligns with established timelines Maintain accurate loan status, borrower data, and internal notes within the loan origination system (LOS) Ensure internal systems reflect real-time progress and documentation updates Support onboarding and cross-training initiatives for new hires or peers as directed Assist with departmental projects and process improvement initiatives Client Relations Manager Qualifications
5+ years of experience
in lending operations, including loan processing, underwriting, or borrower-facing roles (e.g., Loan Officer Assistant, Client Relations) Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume borrower communication and complex loan pipelines Strong documentation review, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proven experience coordinating across cross-functional internal teams Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
