At Globe Communications, LLC, as a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines. Benefits

Lead crews to meet project timelines Help with training of crew members Read and understand blueprints Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations Assist Supervisor with day to day activities Speak with property owners about work to be performed and resolve any issues Safely use heavy equipment and machinery Perform work in all weather conditions As crew leader, be responsible for accurate and timely submission of production reports Oversee crew assignments, ensure all operating and safety procedures are followed Read and follow work orders and blueprints Operate equipment to install/repair underground cable, fiber and placement of pedestals Dig trenches and perform manual labor as required, including working in extreme weather Follow all safety procedures: wear hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves, approved footwear, set up safety perimeter with signage, cones and safety barriers, and flagging traffic Read and understand work orders and operating instructions Qualifications

To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States A valid driver’s license Class A CDL preferred High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant experience At least three years of related work experience Previous Foreman experience preferred Physical Abilities & Exposures

Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Why grow your career with us
