Lead event management activities for internal and external partners to ensure exceptional show presence, including event participation details, attendee administration, event vendor management, booth material & setup logistics, marketing collateral, giveaways and social promotion. Manage event registration processes, attendee communications, and on-site logistics to deliver a seamless experience for attendees and participants. Track and report on event performance metrics, analyse attendee feedback, and recommend improvements. Maintain vendor relationships for branded materials, exhibitors, locations, and partnerships. Support the creation and distribution of event-related content across digital channels to maximize reach and promotion. Manage event marketing budget, invoice reconciliation and expense tracking. Support with competitor and customer research projects as required for key initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, or related field 3 years of event planning experience, or marketing-related functional responsibilities Experience within the healthcare, life science, or regulated industries (B2B or B2C) preferred Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage many deliverables and timelines simultaneously to meet deadlines and stay on-budget Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments with a growth mindset Strong ownership and accountability to work autonomously and advance work strategically and efficiently Proactive outreach to various stakeholders and a willingness to foster strong partnerships Clear, concise communication and presentation skills Experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Wrike, Monday.com), marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot), website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and design software (e.g., Illustrator) Knowledge of customer relationship management platforms (e.g., Salesforce) a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Occasional travel may be required Benefits
