
Position Description:
The Sales Coordinator will perform duties primarily related to the efficient and accurate maintenance and processing of prospect and client accounts.
Job Scope:
This position requires employee to perform duties independently or with minimal supervision while operating from the established direction and instruction of the SVP of Strategic Accounts and agency manual. Daily decisions, required by this position, are typically made by following general company policy, insurance contract requirements, company underwriting guidelines, insurance laws (State or Federal), as well as independent decision making or judgment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with Account Executive on assigned New and Renewal accounts
Set up submissions, proposals, and finance contracts
Obtain IFTAs, Loss Runs, and Financials from the client
Obtain current equipment and driver schedule from the client
Complete IFTA and Loss Summaries
Complete company required applications
Confirm FMCSA filings are complete
Maintain records of existing clients and prospects
Use Reliance sales tools and CRM to update new and renewal business life cycle
Job Requirements:
Active resident state Commercial Property & Casualty insurance license preferred
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and people management skills
Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner
Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Must be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures
Strong computer skills with various software including Microsoft Office, E-Mail, and Internet
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with others
Supervisory Responsibility: This position is not a supervisory position in nature.
