ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Federal Systems Integrator partner is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to support a major initiative within a Federal Civilian agency. This role offers the opportunity to drive large-scale transformation efforts across a mission-focused program. As the Salesforce Technical Architect, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to architect secure, efficient, and high-performing solutions aligned to agency objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce architecture and hands‑on delivery within government environments, with a deep understanding of Salesforce security models, integration patterns, and Agile program delivery. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a Security Clearance are highly preferred. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions for federal agency initiatives Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, senior stakeholders, and program leadership to align technical solutions with agency objectives Architect secure, efficient, and high‑performing Salesforce environments, ensuring compliance with security and data access requirements Oversee full lifecycle Agile program delivery, including solution deployment and migration of legacy applications to Salesforce Design robust Salesforce data models and integration patterns to connect Salesforce with external systems Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in release management and deployment pipelines Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and deliver solutions into production environments Communicate effectively with senior customer stakeholders and technical leadership to ensure project success WHAT YOU BRING
6+ years of overall experience, including 4+ years delivering complex Salesforce programs or large‑scale technical solutions Deep understanding of the Salesforce security model, including data access, roles, profiles, and permission sets Experience supporting full lifecycle Agile program delivery within the Salesforce ecosystem Proven ability delivering solutions into production and/or migrating legacy applications to modern platforms such as Salesforce Demonstrated success working with cross‑functional teams in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment Strong capability in designing scalable, efficient Salesforce data models Proficiency with integration patterns and middleware for connecting Salesforce to external systems Experience communicating effectively with senior customer stakeholders and technical leadership Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges Familiarity with release management, source control, and deployment pipelines for modern Salesforce delivery Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent advanced Salesforce credential (preferred) Active Security Clearance strongly preferred
