We are looking for a Sr. Strategist to join and help lead the Research and Strategy Team, with a focus on enhancing client relationships and guiding strategic development across projects. This role requires strategic vision, client management skills, and a proactive approach to building and implementing impactful brand and audience strategies. As a Sr. Strategist, you will shape compelling audience narratives that inform strategic direction, guiding both internal teams and client stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in trend and insight analysis, creative brief development, and collaborative leadership. You will translate cultural insights and key findings into actionable strategies, fostering innovation and excellence across all initiatives. You'll champion the intersection of purpose and performance—ensuring that work for cause‑oriented clients is both strategically rigorous and creatively inspiring.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Anthropology, or equivalent

5+ years of experience working in strategy, account planning, human‑centered design, or research

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional presentation skills and proven ability to deliver insights and strategic recommendations to clients and stakeholders

Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans, creating briefs that inspire creative teams, and successfully managing multi‑channel campaigns

Analytical and creative mindset, adept at problem‑solving and translating consumer insights into actionable strategies

Digitally fluent and curious, with awareness of emerging technologies

Eager to learn and take on a wide variety of challenges (nothing is too big or small)

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and support where needed

Proven leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior team members, fostering collaboration, and promoting a positive team culture

Passion for purpose‑driven work and a genuine interest in clients whose missions prioritize social good, behavior change, or public benefit

Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications

Experience overseeing and engaging in primary qualitative and quantitative research, including focus groups and UX testing, with the ability to turn data into compelling brand narratives and strategies

Strong understanding of digital, social, and traditional marketing channels, and the ability to think across paid, earned, and owned media

Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office, syndicated research tools, and data gathering and analysis software (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Qualtrics)

Familiarity with generative AI tools for tasks like ideation, research synthesis, and brief development

Self‑starter, eager to share new ideas and thoughts

Comfortable receiving and applying feedback

Innate curiosity to understand human behavior

Excellent time management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Creative problem‑solver who is resourceful, proactive, collaborative, and self‑motivated

Role Responsibilities

Lead strategic direction for multiple client accounts, ensuring alignment with brand goals and consumer insights

Analyze and interpret large volumes of data to find actionable insights and meaningful trends

Measure and optimize campaign performance, leveraging insights to improve future efforts and maintain KPIs

Use research findings to uncover audience behaviors, brand metrics, and industry shifts

Develop and present creative briefs that inspire innovative campaigns and guide cross‑functional teams

Use storytelling to bring actionable category and audience insights to life

Support the Research and Strategy team in day‑to‑day tasks

Collaborate with other departments (Creative, Media, Account Management, Analytics, UX, etc.) to complete client deliverables

Champion innovation by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and cultural shifts to evolve campaign strategies and enhance client impact

Serve as a strategic thought partner for purpose‑driven clients, ensuring their missions are translated into compelling, culturally relevant campaigns

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
