Job Description
At Altitude AI, we are excited to announce that we are looking for a dedicated and passionate Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. This full-time opportunity is based in the bustling heart of Downtown Salt Lake City, UT and is designed for individuals ready to make a substantial impact in the world of industrial automation using Generative AI. This position is not remote; it includes a hybrid work model with three days in-office and two days remote each week.
Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting: Execute high-volume cold-calling and email sequences to introduce Altitude AI to potential customers and schedule product demos.
Pipeline Generation: Leverage modern sales tools to identify, research, and qualify leads within our target market (System Integrators and industrial manufacturers).
Tech Stack Mastery: Utilize HubSpot for CRM management and Clay for AI-driven lead generation and data enrichment.
Technical Communication: Learn the ins and outs of the Altitude OS to effectively explain the value of AI-generated PLC code to skeptical engineering leads.
Collaborative Strategy: Work closely with the leadership team to refine sales techniques, overcome objections, and hit monthly meeting targets.
Requirements
Proven Sales Experience: Prior experience in a sales or business development role, specifically with a track record of success in outbound prospecting.
Technical Aptitude: A strong ability to learn complex software quickly and the curiosity to understand how industrial hardware works.
Persistence & Resilience: You thrive on the challenge of cold-calling. You aren't deterred by "no" and view objections as opportunities to pivot.
Modern Sales Toolkit: Familiarity with HubSpot and Clay (or similar prospecting/CRM tools) is highly preferred.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not provide visa sponsorship or H1B transfers for this position.
Bonus Points: Industrial experience is a huge plus. If you have a background in manufacturing, robotics, or engineering, we want to talk to you.
