
Yushin America Inc. is looking for an Inside Sales Assistant (Technical) for our facility in Cranston, RI. An Inside Sales Assistant (Technical) provides administrative and technical support to a sales team, bridging the gap between complex product specifications and customer needs. Unlike sales, this role requires a deeper understanding of the technical aspects of products to effectively process orders.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Support & Documentation:
Prepare and follow up on customer quotes, manage sales orders, and assist in completing technical forms. Technical Translation:
Simplify complex technical product information and explain features or benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences. Lead & Pipeline Management:
Track customer interactions using Salesforce. Client Relationship Building:
Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, providing solutions and technical information to resolve issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing and leadership teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities. Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience with Oracle and Solidworks Industry Knowledge:
A basic understanding of mechanical or electrical equipment for manufacturing (e.g., robots, sensors) is preferred or required. Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex concepts and negotiating terms. Education:
While a high school diploma is often the minimum requirement, degrees in technical fields like engineering or computer science are highly beneficial for advancement into “Inside Sales Engineer” roles. Starting Salaries:
Entry-level positions typically range from
$45,000 to $55,000
