Chief of Staff KC
Chief of Staff KC is partnering with a client in the Kansas City metropolitan area to hire an E-Commerce Sales Manager. This full-time position is operationally focused, responsible for driving sales, optimizing listings, managing inventory, advertising campaigns, and reporting KPIs. The candidate will stay current with Amazon algorithms and e-commerce trends, with a goal to grow Amazon sales 10–15% annually.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management:
Manage all aspects of our Amazon Seller Central account, including health, performance, compliance, and growth strategies (e.g., FBA/FBM planning, international expansion). Marketplace Research:
Stay current with Amazon platform updates, changes in e-commerce trends, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales velocity, ACOS, ROAS, IPI, customer feedback, and overall channel profitability; provide regular reports and insights to leadership. Inventory & Logistics:
Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, manage shipments to Amazon FBA, and collaborate with operations/supply chain teams to prevent stock-outs and minimize long-term storage fees. Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central/channel management experience Analytical skills: ability to interpret sales, inventory, and advertising data to make data-driven decisions Deep knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem: SEO, listing optimization, FBA logistics, Brand Registry, advertising tools Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field preferred.
