Summary
The Macomb Group is a recognized leading distributor for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time counter sales representative with fire protection / fire sprinkler experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales responsibilities at our Garner, NC location. The Macomb Group differentiates itself by expanding our operations to provide unbeatable specialty services, a huge inventory, energy-efficient solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
Answering phones
Taking orders from customers over the phone
Providing status updates on previous orders
Preparing quotations and bids
Computer entry
Purchasing non-stock items and backorders
Coordination of sales orders
Provide professional customer service to customers
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred
Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of fire protection / fire sprinkler applications
Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
Motivated team player who takes initiative
Work Setting Garner, NC Monday - Friday, day shift
